David Guntrip is a familiar face amongst Club Access 2 leisure’s Members. For 28 years David has proudly provided Club Members with a convenient, reliable, affordable and friendly transport service between the Malta International Airport and Club’s Home Resorts in Malta, as well as trips across the island and car hire.

David’s father was originally from North Wales and was a member of the British Forces during the second World War. In August 1942 David’s father courageously aided the torpedoed and bombarded tanker SS Ohio in Operation Pedestal, which is considered to be one of the most fierce and most heavily contested convoys to Malta. After the war David’s father remained in Malta where he met and married a Maltese lady. David was born soon after.

Over the years since, many Club Members have enjoyed the peace of mind of David’s pre-booked airport transfers and island trips, in the knowledge that they would reach their destinations in good time and safely. His affordable service, friendly manners and lively personality have remained consistent throughout the years.

Patrick, David’s son who as a child used to accompany him on numerous airport trips, has since joined David to help serve the Club’s ever growing member base. Patrick has already proved that he shares the same principles as his father of providing an excellent and professional service.
