The Environmental Contribution is €0.50 per person per night, up to a maximum of €5.00 per person for each continuous stay on the Maltese islands.

The Environmental Contribution is not included in the amount you have paid for your stay and will be charged separately. The Environmental Contribution balance due is to be collected from guests directly by your hotel on the Maltese islands on arrival or departure depending on the hotel’s policy.

Your hotel on the Maltese islands may ask you to provide personal information including your date of birth and to support this with a document such as a passport or driver’s licence. Failure to provide supporting documentation may result in the Environmental Contribution being charged in full.
