Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Butler from Portsmouth, winners of the 2014/15 “Wish YOU were here?” competition. They have won one free week’s accommodation to a Dream Destination of their choice. They travelled to Wyndham Kingsgate in Williamsburg, Virginia on America’s east coast.

“As we arrived at the Wyndham Kingsgate resort in Virgina USA, we entered the gated complex and were greeted by huge manicured lawns and high sprouting fountains. Reception was sited in a huge Colonial house, and we stepped back in time amid high ceilings and heavy panelling. We were quickly checked in and given our site maps and directions. The site and accommodation were excellent, all clean and of a very high standard.”

“Staying here was an ideal location to visit the historic towns of Williamsburg and Jamestown. Or a short drive to Virginia Beach and a swim in the Atlantic – whilst there we were lucky enough to see dolphins diving in the waves. We had excellent weather in October and were able to use the outdoor pool and Jacuzzi all week. Had a really great holiday there and would certainly recommend it!”

Congratulations to Daniel and Donna Greir from London, winners of the 2013/14 “Wish YOU were here?” competition.

They travelled to Silver Lakes Resort and Summer Bay Resort in Orlando, Florida in the USA.

“As a family we decided to book a ‘big holiday’ taking our three children to Florida. Having done a bit of research into the area and the best time of the year to go and best places to stay, I was able to request 2 weeks using our allocation with Club Access 2 leisure. We booked our holiday over the end of May bank holiday and the first week in June. Our holiday could not have been more perfect, the weather was fantastic and the apartments were great.

We stayed one week in Silver Lakes Resort, which virtually backs onto Animal Kingdom, less than 4 minutes in the car! Silver Lakes Resort in Kissimmee has 3 swimming pools, the apartments are well sized with all amenities included. I will definitely return here on our next ‘big holiday’ to America.

Our second week was 10 minutes from Kissimmee up the I95 to Clermont staying at Summer Bay Resort.

This resort has swimming pools galore, its own beach, mini golf and pizza restaurant, and the apartments are all well sized for a family of 5 or more. Location wise is perfect for all Disney parks, a bit of shopping, restaurants and a short drive away from Sea World and Universal Studios.

I would recommend hiring a car before you leave and having tickets booked and itinerary planned. The best holiday we have had by far!”

They travelled to Bellbrae Country Club in Victoria, Australia. “From our perspective this resort is the best in Victoria with superb access by car to the Great Ocean Road, Geelong and Melbourne. Bellbrae Country Club is a peaceful bushland resort, with an animal farm and only 10km from the town of Torquay which is famous for its magnificent beaches for swimming and surfing. The resort itself has friendly staff, a large reception and lounge area for reading, a superb indoor pool, outdoor tennis court and many other facilities for relaxing. We prefer the 2 bedroom units offering extra space. If you want to be close to one of the best coastal drives in the World, look no further.”
