“From Gloomy England, just dropping you an email about our amazing holiday in Texas. We stayed at the Hill Country Silver Leaf Resort in Texas, USA and the quality way exceeded the cost. We went to reception to check in and were greeted like family. Our apartment was very comfortable and had everything you need and so much more than we expected. We had a downstairs Presidential Suite with a large patio with table and chairs right next to the pool. The facilities were brilliant, the pool had plenty of sunbeds and parasols, towels were even supplied at no extra cost. There is a friendly bar that does meals, a local supermarket and a takeaway within walking distance (I’m 50, so not too far).

We hired a car so we could get out and about, we went to a few towns around the resort, Bandera was our favourite. We were invited to a town barbecue held every Wednesday, just bring your own bits. We went to Six Flags Fiesta Park which isn’t that far away and had a great time.

San Antonio is less than 2 hours away and other guests recommended some places which we would go to if we get the chance to go back. We made some new friends while at the  resort and we keep in touch through Facebook. Checking out was easy too, we told them we were going to stop in San Antonio for a couple of nights and the lady on reception (at our request) even arranged for a room at a very nice hotel close to the airport for our flight home.

From talking to a rep at Club Access 2 leisure while staying in Malta where we got all the information we needed and booked the holiday, to flying home after the holiday we were well looked after and all our needs catered for.
