The shortest commercial flight in the world is in Scotland. Regional airline Loganair, flies between the islands Westray and Papa Westray. The journey is just 1.7 miles and takes 90 seconds. Wonder if you still have to check in 2 hours before departure......

Maltese language words of the month:
Inhobbok - meaning ‘love you’.
Bis-serjeta means are you serious? Just like ilallu (oh my!), - we use it when someone tells us something and we can't believe we're hearing it.
Jien tajjeb, grazzi. - I am fine, thank you.
Respond to "Kif inti?" (Octobers words for how are you?) with "Jien tajjeb, grazzi." - It's polite and keeps the conversation flowing.
Inħobb il-kejk - I like cake.
Express your preferences or likes with "Inħobb."- It's a fun way to share what you enjoy, and you get to have your cake and eat it!
February in Maltese is – Frar.

Congratulations to the winner of a free week of accommodation at the Primera Hotel competition:
The Answers were: ‘Spain’ (origin) and ‘First’ (meaning) derived from the latin ‘Primarius’.
The winners were Mr. & Mrs. Mitchell, who said:
We bought our Membership during a Weather Spoilt Holiday to Malta with our Eldest Daughter around 26 years ago, this has enabled to take our children to Florida a few times, which would not have been affordable without our Membership, now we are using our Membership to explore places as a couple spending Christmas 2025 in Calahonda and we have booked Lanzarote for October. Never been disappointed with the Standard of Accommodation received at resorts we have swapped to.

Thank you to all who participated!

Passepartouts’ family adventures
Well, what a picture of serenity! the family are out in the big wide world full of new smells and things to explore for the kits.
Passepartout is catching up with a little gardening before the kits dig the flowers back up, and Elsa is contemplating where they can go on an ‘adventure’ where Verne and Julie cannot get into too much trouble.
Stay tuned to see where havoc descends on the chosen destination.
